What People's Say About Place

A nice little hidden gem on the side of the river. I was in town with a buddy for some business, and we dropped in to eat before getting back on the road. Our very nice server Cassidy recommended me the Chicken Stir Fry. I was very skeptical given this was a Barbeque Joint, but it was actually a really good chicken stir fry! The chicken was tender, cooked perfectly, alongside the medley of vegetables. It came with a sweet potato which was also prepared perfectly with brown sugar and butter on the side. A real treat Very inexpensive meal, two entrees and a dessert clocking $34 before tip, which is unheard of in 2025. The cherry cobbler was wonderful a la mode. I need to come back and try more of their other offerings. I hope they break out a blueberry cobbler next time I'm in. Blueberry cobbler is great.

What a cool spot. We took a recommendation from a local and they definitely didn’t steer us wrong. Great food and service. You know it’s good when Rachel ray and guy fierri have both visited. Wide menu selection and fair pricing. Food came out fast and hot. We tried their cheeseburger, ribs, pulled pork and a bunch of sides. We enjoyed it all! Will definitely be back to try other menu items.

We stopped at this riverfront restaurant on the recommendation of a local who had informed us that the restaurant had been featured on Food Network. She was right. The restaurant has a plaque explaining that the restaurant was originally featured in outdoor magazine as e result of the outdoor magazine food critic stopping at the restaurant then writing a review. Later Guy Fieri featured the restaurant the restaurant on his Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. We asked our attentive waiters what she recommended. She said most people order their fall off the bones pork ribs but added that no one in the state mates a better burger. We ordered a burger and a platter of ribs and pulled pork. With the platter, you got two sides and your choice of a dinner roll or corn bread. We selected cornbread. It was just ok. For sides we picked onion rings and baked beans. Both were really good. With the burger, we ordered fries. Fries were just ok. The cheeseburger was as good as our waiters said it would be. It was perfectly cooked with pink on the center, and a light char on each side. It was fabulous. Before the waiter served us the burger, our waitress informed us that they were out of brioche buns and asked if we were ok with a sesame seed bun. I imagine the brioche bun might have improved the burger, but the burger was so good I didn’t miss the brioche bun. Our waitress accurately described the ribs and pulled pork too. Both had an excellent smoked flavor. The ribs literally fell off the bones. Delicious. For the sauce, you had a choice of sweet or spicy barbecue. We selected the sweet sauce. The sauce was mildly sweet and very thick. I really liked it. The inside of the restaurant consists of two separate seating areas. The seats aren’t very comfortable and the tables seem a bit close for my comfort. The walls are covered with photos of celebrities that have visited the establishment and signed a photo, including Rachel Ray. Sadly, only tea (sweet or unsweetened) and Pepsi products are served. Parking was a hair concerning given you have to back out of the restaurant onto a two lane road with a nearby hill for cars to whip over while you back out. Our waitress was busy but very attentive and super friendly. The food was reasonably priced. The menu, surprisingly, was quite extensive. Based on the food alone we will definitely visit this restaurant again.

It was our first visit, we were visiting the area and decided to stop in. We both got the half rack ribs and his were perfect and mine were dry but the flavor was nice. Next visit we will come a little later, not when they just opened, I think it would be a bit better. The food that passed by our table all looked delicious and everyone seemed to really enjoy this place. Definitely stop by!

Went for a nice drive on a sunny Saturday and stumbled upon this place. Stopped in for a bite and left with a happy heart and a place I will return to again. From the ribs that fell off the bone to the chicken that each bite made you want more. The mozzarella skewers were to die for. If you haven’t ever been here make the trip. It’s worth it.

The food is wonderful and tasty. Their fried fish was crispy and not greasy. Chicken wings were perfectly cooked and not over cooked dry. Mashed potato with gravy is flavourful. Everything else was delicious. Its a great comforting place to dine in and our server was very nice. Thanks for a great experience, we will definetly come back

This place never fails to deliver absolute taste and delishousness. This time around I ordered The Cuban, wife ordered the Taco Salad, and daughter ordered the Smokehouse Mac & Cheese. Wow! The baked Sweet Potato with butter & sour cream...Fantastic! Everything about this restaurant is absolutely Fantastic! I love it.

We stopped to grab something to eat before the Friday night HS football game. The service was great and the food was very good.
